What we offer 
In our department within Safe Vehicle Automation we are around 120 skilled engineers creating tomorrow’s platform solutions for our active safety and self-driving vehicles. Our Agile Release Train (ART) Autonomous Drive & ADAS Platform develops the sensor and software platform that enables development and deployment of functionality such as collision avoidance, automatic parking and autonomous driving. What you will do
As a Senior Software Developer, you will be designing and implementing code in our embedded software platform. As a senior engineer you are expected to lead and guide the developers in e.g. architectural and quality aspects of the SW design solutions. You are a part of an agile development team that is responsible for its backlog and working closely with Product Owner and other stakeholders to ensure a capable and quality assured software platform.

What you bring in
To be successful in this role we see that you are a Senior Software Developer with proven hands-on experience of designing and coding complex embedded systems in the automotive business. You also have experience of delivering software into a Continuous Integration tool chain and have an interest in developing methods and tools to facilitate those releases.

In addition to minimum a M Sc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar, you also have at least 5-10 years of experience from software development in C++ (std 11/14) for embedded systems, development in Linux environment, optimization of SW code, unit testing and test automation. Having knowledge in ISO26262 is meritorious.

As we are a truly international team, we see you have excellent communication skills being fluent in English both verbally and in writing. You are a driven self-motivated person with a technical mind-set, team-oriented and well acquainted with agile methods. You have an energetic approach to continuously learn and innovate. You are motivated by using your problem-solving skills in a very dynamic environment.
