In our department within Safe Vehicle Automation we are around 120 skilled engineers creating tomorrow’s platform solutions for our active safety and self-driving vehicles. Our Agile Release Train (ART) Autonomous Drive & ADAS Platform develops the sensor and software platform that enables development and deployment of functionality such as collision avoidance, automatic parking and autonomous driving. An autonomous vehicle will generate gigabits of data per second and data driven development is a corner stone to achieving autonomy. You will get a chance to develop the software that is necessary for to us perform decision making, system validation and development of our Machine Learning models. What you’ll do
As software developer of data collection functionality you will be an important contributor in making the data driven development become a reality. You will design and implement software that fulfills the requirements of embedded safety critical systems, comprising e.g. efficient memory management and buffering, inter process communication, process isolation and large file transfer over mobile networks. You will be involved in all stages from requirement definition to validation and verification. You will be part of the agile team and have interfaces with stakeholders internally and externally.

What you bring in
You have minimum 5-10 years of experience of software development of embedded safety critical systems and coding in C++ on Linux/QNX and are well familiar with how to design ASIL classified software. You have an educational background of a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar. You have proven hands-on experience in design and implementation of efficient memory management and buffering, parallel processing, inter process communication and time series data processing & management.

You have a mind-set of a driven team-oriented and self-motivated person with a technical focus. You are an organized person well acquainted will agile methods. You have excellent English skills both verbally and in writing. Continuously learning and exploring to innovate describes your personality.
