We are looking for the next member of our team that will be responsible for the technical development in ReVibe Energy

Who are we?

ReVibe Energy is a technology startup that is looking to revolutionize the market for wireless communication in industrial applications. ReVibe Energy has its roots in Chalmers and SAAB Training and Simulations where the core technology originally developed and is today managed by two entrepreneurs driven by the goal of bringing this awesome technology to market. The technology itself has the ability to transform ambient vibrations into electricity and power electrical components in environments where traditional power supplies cannot operate.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for engineers who possess the rare skill of both enjoying a deep dive into technical details as well as thrive in taking on a holistic responsibility of the product development process. We also need you to bean individual that loves a challenge, grows with responsibility and wants to use your knowledge in a live setting where you will have an excellent opportunity to impact the development of the company. Thus, we are searching for someone that thrives within a hardware startup environment, i.e. a fast moving environment where everyone works together as a TEAM. You will be a part of ReVibe Energy’s core from the very beginning and represent a vital part of the company.

What skills do you need to have?

Most importantly, we are people persons. As we will be working closely together we want to get to know you – not your CV! However, there are some requirements that you need to fill in terms of competencies:

• An engineering degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) preferably within one of the following fields:
• o   Mechanical Engineering
• o   Engineering Physics
• o   Electrical Engineering
• o   Mechatronics Engineering
• o   OR any other area that can be associated with applied mechanics, product development, mechatronics, product design, wireless communication or similar
• Experience from Matlab and CAD software, preferably CATIA V5 (experience from FE software, e.g. COMSOL or ANSYS, is desirable).
• An open mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit

We gladly accept applications from newly graduates, some work experience is however desirable. The position will include a wide range of tasks such as frequency analysis of vibration data and adjustment and optimization of current product design along with performance testing.

Starting this August, the journey begins and the following 6 months will be characterized by determined work to convert the technology into a ready-for-the-market product.
