UCG 121701 Backend Java Developer

UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.

The Consultant role

As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.

Education/training

Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.

Experience

We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.

Required experience for this role:

* 5+ years of experience programming in Java and experience architecting, designing, developing and maintaining software running on the Java platform

* Experience developing cloud-native applications running in the cloud (GCP, AWS or Azure)

* Are comfortable with the operability parts of being a software developer, running your software in Linux environments and using metrics and monitoring as feedback loops to improve software

* Documented agile coaching experience with a proven track record of successfully facilitating continuous improvement work in a development team

* Know and care about sound engineering practices like agile, continuous delivery, test-driven development, defensive programming and circuit-breakers

Working language: English

Meriting competence

- Android experience

- Streaming experience

- Interest in music creation

About the position

-You will be a member of a team that owns, develops and maintains the an Android app, which is available worldwide

- Product development, maintenance and bug fixes

- Performance improvements to keep the Lite app best-in-class in terms of performance, data consumption and device resource usage

-As a part of an inclusive, autonomous and cross-functional agile team that employs continuous delivery and quick feedback loops
