Are you a talented Project Manager with special interest in ERTMS signalling systems? Then you might be the person we are looking for to become part of Europe's largest replacement of a signalling system in Denmark or other interesting signalling or ERTMS projects.

Job Description
In Ramboll's Rail Division we strive to be among the leading consultants within modern signalling systems and ERTMS consultancy. For a number of years, we have won many new assignments within this business area and still have continuous flow of new interesting projects. We constantly focus on providing value-adding solutions meeting the customers' requirements. Ramboll sets as objective to offer the best competences on the market within this area. Therefore we seek competent signalling engineers and project managers with interest in ERTMs signalling systems, contributing to and supporting our continued growth and developments within signalling and ERTMs projects.

As project manager in our department, your primary areas of responsibility will be:
- Project management of Danish signalling projects or international signalling and ERTMS projects, depending om background and interests
- Contact with clients and management of and contribution to the technical work in small and large signalling projects
- Guiding the work of less experienced engineers
- Depending on your background and areas of interest, we also need resources within business development and tendering

Your Qualifications
We expect you to deliver consultancy of high quality, providing our customers and business partners with the best service.

Perhaps you have a background within signalling systems. Alternatively, you may have a background as project manager on projects within other industries. We expect you to have a creative personality and good communications skills, both orally and in writing. The ideal candidate is a team player with:
- Experience with specification and implementation of signalling systems and interest in ERTMS - alternatively you have a relevant background within other areas
- Interest in contributing to the development of our services to new clients
- Experience with management of complex technical projects
- Good commercial understanding, the ability to establish and maintain long term client relations and network
- The ability to gain and become familiar with new knowledge and to understand complex contexts and technical solutions
- A proactive and energetic approach
- A good understanding of client requirements and a good ability to understand and "read" the needs of customers and people around you
- Proficiency in English

Join our Team
You will be part of a professional, strong and committed Nordic Rail business community in Ramboll with 350 people, including a signalling environment with more than 120 traffic and signalling engineers keeping up to date with the technical developments and debate. We work with the new common European concepts for train control systems (ERTMS/ETCS) as well as more conventional interlocking systems, providing you with good opportunity to develop within the latest technology as well as the traditional signalling and interlocking disciplines.

Our current signalling projects comprise Europe's largest replacement of a signalling system, the Danish Signalling Programme, replacing the entire signalling system on all main lines in Denmark. We are consultants on Ring 3 Light Rail in Copenhagen (the largest Light Rail scheme in the Nordics), Metro Cityringen in Copenhagen and we are also involved in several international projects. For instance, in cooperation with Ramboll Norway we deliver consultancy services on modern signalling systems (greenfield and brownfield projects and ERTMS) to the Norwegian railway agency (Jernbaneverket). Ramboll has 2,500 employees within transport and thus constitutes one of the greatest professional environments in the Nordics within transport, rail and signalling/ERTMS.

Besides the technical disciplines, Ramboll's key areas also comprise management, consultancy, engineering and process and project management. You will primarily be working in Ramboll's head office in Copenhagen (Ørestad), but we are open for discussing possibilities of working from one of our other Ramboll offices.

Why You'll like Working here
To work at Ramboll means being part of a people organisation. We are focused on knowledge sharing and collaboration across competence areas and geography, and we aim for a strong diversity among our employees. This enables us to solve a broad range of projects, and we firmly believe that cross-collaboration leads to creative and durable solutions. Thus, the possibilities at Ramboll are many and diverse - we invest a lot in development of people and offer career paths tailored for each individual.
