Ortivus is strengthening our Product Innovation team, focusing on developing our future products. We have several open positions and are now recruiting two new members to expand our team. We are focusing on all aspects of diversity to build a creative team where we all can learn from each other’s experiences and grow as engineers and colleagues and to have fun.
What you’ll do at Ortivus
In the Product Innovation team you will be part of an agile scrum team and you will be specifying, developing, maintaining and test our new products in a safe and reliable way. In the role you will work closely with our software and hardware engineers in the Product Innovation team as well as with other engineering teams. Your main responsibilities will be development and design, creating our next generation of products. You will also participate in requirements engineering, implementing software and integration tests, as well as product risk analysis and solve complex problems. You will provide relevant documentation for the developed products. Third level support and application development are also part of what you will do. You will also be part of our continuos effort to improve the way we are working.
What you will bring us
To be a suitable candidate for this position we think you have a Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent, maybe specializing in computer science, electronics, mechatronics or physics. You have experience in agile methodologies, direct product development and experience of working in a regulated industry, preferably in the medical devices industry. Strong computer skills and experience are required. Some of the systems, programs and processes we work with are:

You have excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Your drive and quality-conscious mindset will be success factors in this position. To fit well with your responsibilities and with the Product Innovation team, we think you are a pragmatic problem solver, with an ability to get things done. You have the capability to design long-term solutions to products and you like to work with continuous improvements, both in the products and in our processes.
