What do we offer?
At Volvo Cars Connected Experience department (infotainment and connectivity) we are currently looking for an Experienced SW Developer and Test Automation Engineer to join our team. We are working with Continuous Integration (CI) to provide quick and continuous feedback to development teams and visualize the health of our solution as well as testing the complete infotainment system to make sure our SW releases - that will reach our customer’s cars - have the premium quality the customers deserve. This is done through test automation, effective testing methods, joy and passion. We also work with SW release where we are packaging our SW packages before integration in the complete electrical system.

You will be part of a highly skilled agile team which has a good mix of nationality, gender, age and experience. Here you will have the opportunity to learn and develop for every sprint. There are no limits when it comes to how much there is to learn and daily you will run into new challenges.

What will you do?
- Be part of the Solution CI development and execution.
- Ensure optimal test coverage at solution level, by test automation in rigs and sometimes in cars. This means create, execute and analyze automated test cases.
- Provide visualization of test results.

Do you fit the profile?
We are now looking for professionals, who enjoy working within software development and have a genuine interest in cars and infotainment. We see that you at least have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent and have experience of test automation principles. You are proficient in programming (a programming test will be performed as a 2nd interview) and are experienced working with Python. You have experience from Robot Framework, CAPL, CANoe/CANalyzer and/or Wireshark. You are fluent in English (both written and spoken). 

It is highly meritorious if you have automotive Basetech competence in Diagnose, LVDS, FlexRay, Ethernet, CAN, LIN and background in infotainment. Experience from continuous Integration and DevOps as well as experience from analyzing complex logs including automated verdict setting based on logs are also beneficial for this role. If you are interested in data analytics and visualization of data (preferably with PowerBi), let us know, it will be useful. You have a driver`s license “B”, valid in EU.
