Android Developer

We are looking for our new in-house Android Engineer to join our team in Stockholm!

The right person should have a strong grasp of the current Android development tools, technology, and strategies and be able to work in a team environment to take a plan from concept to execution. Candidates should cherish exploring new technologies, while at the same time keeping their mind on the task currently at hand. You will be working with new technologies and will have significant opportunities to grow your skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain our Keyflow Android Guest application and Keyflow Android Business application
• Work with the iOS and backend team to develop and deploy new features/maintain it
• Take control of a stable codebase which iterated through 7 years of development

Technologies used

• Gradle, kotlin, RxJava, dagger2, SQLite
• Firebase for app distribution and cloud messaging
• OpenAPI docs for API documentation

Requirements

• Grasp of Android app development and release
• Previous experience with integrating APIs and functionalities on Android
• 1-2 years of previous Android experience, please share relevant projects and other Open Source work. We value skills over experience, so don't hesitate to reach out.

Recruitment Process

• Call/online meet with our managers from sales and business.
• Take home technical task on building a sample Android app using one of our APIs.
• Interview with our technical team.
