Who are we?

We are a young, ambitious, and tech-savvy company that loves vibrations above everything else! Why vibrations? ‘Cause what we develop, manufacture and sell to our customers are two things: 1) Vibration energy harvesting units which turn vibrations into electricity and 2) vibration data loggers that helps our customers measure vibrations accurately.

Beyond this, we’re a tight-knit group of people who are looking forward to welcoming you into our team. We take great pride in developing and offering products of great quality to our customers and of course, having a bunch of fun along the way.

About the role

We are looking for someone who has a strong technology interest within the field of embedded systems and analog/digital electronics. You are passionate about inventing and developing new products that will make a real impact for our customers across the world. You are a person that has worked within your field for a couple of years and have fine-tuned your skills and feel ready to take on more responsibility. We believe you are a curious person with a broad technical interest. You are always on the lookout for new technology and want to be in a fast-moving environment where you can continuously have an impact on the development. You see problems as puzzles to be solved and strive to use your own experience as well as collaborate with others to find new solutions. You are used to “getting your hands dirty” and feel challenged rather than intimidated by difficult problems. You are skilled and experienced when it comes to working with embedded systems and programming microcontrollers. Ideally, you have a keen interest in (and are willing to improve in) developing your own PCB designs in Eagle or similar software and later testing them out in the lab to ensure that your designs are working as intended.

Your responsibilities:

1) Assume technical ownership of one of our current product lines of measurement instruments and continue the development of the product line by introducing new versions of the products.

2) Together with the R&D team develop new wireless products where we combine embedded sensors, wireless communication and microcontrollers with our energy harvesting products

Your qualifications:

Required:

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in embedded electronics
  • Programming microcontrollers (ST, Atmel, etc) in C or similar
  • Loves the idea of working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • An analytical mindset and detail-oriented work approach
  • Interest in electronics design
  • Engineering degree in computer science, electronics, physics, mathematics, or similar fields

Nice to have:

  • Meritorious if you have experience in part or in full from electronics design workflow (search and source components, prototyping, PCB layout, testing, iterating etc.)
  • Experience from Eagle CAD (or other electronic CAD systems)
  • Meritorious if you are used to working in a lab environment and testing your own designs (e.g. using oscilloscopes, etc)
  • Experience with Embedded Linux or Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and architectures (QNX, FreeRTOS, RT Linux etc.)
  • Experience from python

What we offer you:

ReVibe Energy was founded as we identified a great need in the market for our solution, much like any other aspiring company. But besides this fact, a large part of the decision was made from the starting point that it should be fun doing business! Going to work every day should not be a burden, it should be something to look forward to! Of course, not every day will be the most fantastic of your life as we all have our ups and downs, but we are convinced of one thing: that this company shall provide its employees with the possibility of having the most epic day of their life, every day.
