Software Developer - Data Analysis and Method Validation

We are looking for an software developer who can join our development team and help us develop cutting edge analysis tools for Vironova’s state-of-the-art products. You will be a member of a team focused on developing tools used for data analysis where you will be implementing methods used for image analysis, statistical analysis and method validation.

What we would like from you:

We expect you to have a Master's degree and 2 years of work experience in software development. You have a background in mathematics and love using that experience to formulate problems as mathematical expressions.

It is meriting if you...

- have experience with C# / .NET and/or C++
- have experience with image analysis and machine learning
- have experience working with open source image processing libraries such as OpenCV or ITK
- have experience with practical usage of statistics

You should have a curious mind and like picking up new skills and technologies as you will be working in an ever changing environment. You thrive when working as part of a team and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others. You are fluent in English, both spoken and in writing and is a resident in Sweden, however, Swedish is not a mandatory requirement

As a Software Developer, you will:

Be responsible for design and implementation of our software according to best practice together with your colleagues. Key responsibilities will be to:

- Take part in designing, implementing and validating analysis functionality used in Vironova’s products
- Act as a receiving part for cooperative projects involving research and development
- Help write specifications, especially from a technical standpoint
- Design and implement new software functionality
- Keep up to date with, and make use of, new technologies and methodologies
