We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer for our Stockholm team, to help us shape the future experiences of Episervers products and offerings.

Ideally you bring experience of building large single-page JavaScript applications using modern JavaScript technologies like React - modular applications that support configuration, integrations and extensibility to be used in different scenarios by a wide range of customers. You are self-motivated and like to collaborate with your colleagues to find the best solution that solves the problem, considering architecture, cost of development and cost of ownership. You are comfortable with working in a fast-moving agile environment and working closely with User Experience Designers, Product Managers and other stakeholders.

As Senior Software Engineer Front End you will

• Develop, maintain, test, document and support Episerver’s products and services using good engineering practices to achieve high quality and support long-term lifecycle of the products/services
• Design, architect, develop, maintain and run large Single Page Applications built with React and TypeScript collaboratively with team and stakeholders
• Develop and maintain Episerver’s existing JavaScript based products on short continuous release cycle
• Ensure product quality by developing and applying thorough automated testing techniques supported through CI/CD workflows
• Contribute to architecture and design discussions within your agile team as well as with other teams
• Advise on task grooming, organization, and scope
• Mentor and share with other engineers and team members
• Pursue growth by maintaining an awareness of the state of technology, engineering techniques, and best practices

About you

• You have 7+ years of experience working with modern development practices, currently focusing on client-side applications in JavaScript.
• You have significant experience building applications using modern JavaScript technologies like React and Redux.
• You are a real team player who enjoys solving problems together.
• You have an understanding and interest for building and maintaining applications as well as extensible libraries/frameworks.
• You have at least some experience building backends JavaScript applications, ideally in C# / .NET Core.
• Ideally you have significant experience building large, modular, metadata-driven SaaS UI’s with continuous releases that quickly adapt to user needs.
• Technical leadership experience and interest is a big plus.

Experiences with the following technologies are also advantageous:

• Designing and building solutions based on Episerver CMS or Commerce
• React with Redux, or similar state management
• ESLint, Prettier, EditorConfig, or other linting tools
• Rollup, Webpack, or other packaging systems
• Material Design system, or other design systems
• Containers and container/service orchestration
• HTTP APIs / REST services / GraphQL written in C#
• Git
