We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our Benefits Engine team! The team’s current focus is to fuel Benify’s global growth by developing one of our core product areas - benefits. You will join an agile and cross functional team of 6 devs, product owner, UX and agile coach. Together you deliver value often and fast and translate business and user needs to code. We encourage creativity and innovation by giving you a mission and problems to solve, not a manual.
As a developer at Benify, you’ll join a relatively small community great developers and leaders to be inspired by and learn from. We share knowledge and believe in succeeding together as a team.
Who are you?
You have a genuine interest in understanding business needs and producing user value in a complex code base. We’d rather see you have a product mindset than a focus on specific technologies, i.e. solving a real-life problems is more important to you than which framework you use to solve the problem. You recognize communication as an essential trait of an efficient developer and you have the ability to explain complex problems clearly and concisely. To succeed in this position, you also know that no one can know it all. You like sharing what you know and collaborating with colleagues to find the best solutions.
Your profile:
• First-class technical skills on Java backend tech stack
• It’s a big plus if you have expertise in a frontend stack similar to ours (Angular and Typescript)
• Several years of hands-on experience working in agile software development environments, preferably from product companies
• Experience from CI / CD flows with daily releases
• Relevant Academic background
