Application Security Engineer

Since early 2000 we have supported our clients on a vast number of projects, all over the world. Our consultant pool consists of Swedish and non-Swedish consultants within the fields of embedded systems, telecommunication, IoT, security, online solutions and application development.

We are now looking for a Application Security Engineer, preferably with a background within .Net development. If possible, complemented with knowledge covering additional development platforms, commonly used within the Company, like Java and/or JavaScript. The Application Security Specialist will support the application teams in scope for the transformation by:

- Enhancing/Creating Development Instructions related to how to deal with ASVS Security Requirements

- Support application teams on how to remove vulnerabilities in software

- Support application teams on how to secure conformance of MASVS requirements in web applications

- Support application teams on how to integrate security test tools into the SDLC

- Support application teams on how to integrate the MASVS into the SDLC and impact the way of working and approach in relation to software security.

In addition to technical expertise reflected in the above bullet points, our client expects the Application Security Specialist to be able to take on the role of Transformation Leader. The transformation leader takes an active role in the transformation of an application team, by working closely with individuals from that team and supporting them in reaching the IFA Transformation security goals. In this role, you are expected to keep track of progress and create results with support and coaching, together with additional representatives.

Start: asap.

Duration: longterm.

Extent: full-time, 40h/week. Paid overtime can be requested.

Compensation: Negotiable.
