Project System Engineer at SAAB Air Traffic Management Tower Sy

Your role

Saab Air Traffic Management is expanding and we are looking for a project system engineer to join our Tower Systems Team in Sweden (Gothenburg).

As project system engineer you will be part of project team(s) responsible for the delivery of Saab integrated air traffic control suite to customers worldwide.

Your main tasks are:

Map customer requirements to system solutions based on Saab Integrated Air Traffic Control Suite (I-ATS) product;

Design customer specific solutions and coordination with software development;
*

Develop external interface specifications, system design documents and acceptance test documents;
*

Configure, integrate and test the system in factory and on site;
*

Execute factory and site acceptance testing;
*

Suggest project, product and process improvements;
*

Participate in proposal work related to system architecture and technical requirements;

For your role, you will be traveling approximately 25% of your time.

Your profile

*

Higher degree in a relevant subject or relevant experience;
*

Communicate fluently in English, both verbally and written;
*

Analytical thinker, flexible and creative;
*

Planning and scheduling skills;
*

Knowledge of system and software engineering;
*

Knowledge of Linux, network and security (CentOS and Oracle Linux, Python, Bash, Foreman, Salt, Docker, VirtualBox, VMWare);
*

Understanding of Air Traffic Management (preferable);
