Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer at EQT, you will be working together with Fullstack Engineers, UX Designers, Data Engineers and Business Stakeholders to revolutionize the core business of EQT and by that, the private equity industry. You will be working in a small team designing for example end-to-end solutions from data ingestion, pipelines and storage to consumption in applications used for algorithmic deal sourcing, business intelligence, web applications used by our investors in close collaboration with the end users.

What you’ll do

● Design, build and maintaining data models for business intelligence applications

● Develop data pipelines in dbt and work with cloud data warehousing platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery)

● Build business critical applications and contribute to a codebase in Node.js, SQL and Java

Nice-to-have!

● Experience working with tools like Fivetran, dbt and Snowflake

● Experience in analytics and visualization in BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Mode etc) is a plus

● Understanding of master data management, CI/CD release automation, data ingestion pipelines, kubernetes, GCP and app integration/orchestration (e.g., Workato/Airflow) is also creditable
