Duties

The department is responsible for the development and production of software products focusing on the user in the wheelchair, the service technicians in the field and for the production of our medical devices. The products has the form of mobile applications, web portals and other types of applications. We consists of two development teams located in Sundsvall and work in an agile environment with a continuous flow of work items from user needs and requirements to release out in the field. We have a culture that encourage openness, helping each other, team success and a keen sense of humor. We're situated in our modern office on the fifth floor of NP3-Arena in Sundsvall, looking in towards the city center.

We need to strengthen our team in web and app development with a UX designer who can also be involved in implementing UI elements in our solutions. We expect you to be a Front end Developer who has an interest towards UX and graphic design or an AD/UX designer who wants and can be involved in realizing/implementing the graphic framework on which we base our applications.

As a Software Developer with a focus on UX, you will work to improve and align graphic elements in our applications. You will both produce common component libraries, make UX sketches, storyboards and update our digital graphic profile. You will also be a driving force in the work with user testing and testing of new functions and products. You will be an important part of our team with a large creative freedom.

* Develop our UX based on user needs, requirements and our strategic product plans.

* Develop and maintain our UI framework, components and look and feel.

* Design and sketch new features.

* Help out in supporting our users and also learning their challenges.

* Participate with the development of our processes and methods.

Qualifications

For this position we expect you to have a couple of years of experience from front end development and a university degree in the area of computer science, engineering or digital design.

You have experience from previous UX or AD assignments and can show us references.

You are efficient in HTML, CSS and SASS. You have knowledge and some experience from JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, AngularJS. It is considered a merit if you have experience from React or Vue. We assume you have experience with responsive web applications for different devices.

For UX design we think you will use Sketch, InVision and Zeplin. Knowledge in Figma is also considered a merit. But you will be able to select the tooling of your choice.

As a person you are a team-oriented problem solver, keen on learning new things, an attention to detail and willingness to participate and share knowledge. You can tell the difference between nice-to-have features and the one that are crucial for our users.

As we are working in a local organization with a global responsibility we require that you are fluent in Swedish and English. Knowledge in other languages are beneficial.
