Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable
transport solutions.

Do you want to join our team developing both Hardware In the Loop (HIL) and Software In the Loop (SIL) automated test environments?

Our growing organisation provides the test platform that will make a difference for vehicles of tomorrow!

We are responsible for developing and maintaining the software that utilises the capabilities of or HIL and SIL environments. In order to be able to test the vehicle’s
software, we develop and build state of the art a SIL-envoronments and HIL-rigs, that supports a large number of truck and bus configurations. The purpose of
HIL is to test the software executing in the hardware. This is done by tricking the system and its component parts into believing it is
executing in a real vehicle with all its dynamics. This is achieved using real-time execution of environmental models. With SIL, we can execute the same software but on a standard personal computer.

The group
The group consists of 2 teams, Test Automation Software team and Software In the Loop team. As the group manager I value an open mindset and in return I provide an open trustful working climate where you are given the opportunity to grov. Team collaboration where
every team member participates to find good solutions with a positive attitude.

possibilities to gain knowledge about all systems and new technologies, as well as a broad network within Scania.

Your profile
You are a person with good communication skills who likes to drive things forward together with others. With a positive can-do attitude
you find solutions even if the requirements are vague. You love to learn about new technologies and combine that with your experience
and interpersonal skills.
You are a graduate engineer with some years of work experience. You have experience of working with Python, C/C++, Java, Mathlab or
similar. It is a merit if you have experience of working with control systems, hardware or embedded software development. Experience
of working with automated test systems are meriting. You are fluent in English both
speaking and writing, and if you don’t speak Swedish you are eager to learn. A requirement is a class B driving licence, C driving license
