Are you interested in developing the next generation of autonomous underground Scooptrams and Minetrucks?
The LHD application group develops software for underground load-haul-dump processes. We are always looking for skilled people within this area and we are now strengthening our automation team with developers/designers specialized in robotics, control systems and/or autonomous solutions.

You will be part of a high preforming agile team, working together with committed colleagues. Our team has deep knowledge within the area of automation and machine control, such as, localization, navigation, path planning, driver assistant functions as well as tele-remote solutions.
We work together in teams with modern C ++ development, Matlab for data analysis and automated testing in Python. We continuously aim to improve team performance and spirit, by challenging ourselves and our processes. 

Your mission
As a software development engineer you will take part in design and implementation of functions for our autonomous loaders and trucks. You will be part of an agile software team that both implements and searches for state of the art approaches for autonomous drive.

Your profile
You hold a Master of Science or higher education, in Robotics, Computer Science, Control Theory or a similar area.  To succeed in this position you should have at least 5 years of work experience within the area of your degree. A PhD degree would be highly valued.

You are skilled in programming, software design and have experience from preferably C++ or similar language. Experience with machine learning, sensor fusion and processing, mapping and localization are merits.
You are interested in problem solving, have analytical skills and are passionate about creating high quality solutions.
