About the Role
Qapital is looking for a Platform Engineer to join our team in Stockholm. In this role you will develop, automate and continuously improve our platform. You will be a part of a small autonomous team of platform engineers and backend developers. To succeed in this role, you are someone who enjoys taking ownership of the bigger picture.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our Product teams on evolving and maintaining the application and backend infrastructure.
- Develop and improve our infrastructure as code.
- Automate manual tasks, as well as keep systems up-to-date and secure in an automated way.
- Use tools such as Terraform, Packer and Ansible to keep our AWS based infrastructure stable and secure.
Skills and Requirements
- Experience of operating a cloud hosted infrastructure on providers such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience of infrastructure automation using eg. CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Experience of configuration management using eg. Ansible, Chef or Puppet.
- Production experience operating Linux based systems.
Plus
- Experience of scaling infrastructure based on load.
- Experience with running a fault-tolerant infrastructure.
- Experience with containerized environments.
- Experience with scaling database and data storage.
- Experience with the Hashicorp stack, primarily Consul, Nomad and Vault.
- Developer experience eg. Java, Kotlin or Go.
