Our Exciting Opportunity

Do you want to join the most dynamic and fast paced team in Ericsson? Do you want to build and create new paths for Ericsson in Industry 4.0? Are you a super integrator and developer? If so, join us now!

We will extend our development team with another developer within the area of Advanced Industries. Our team has a key role in creating new business within Smart manufacturing. You will be engaged in the whole process from creating customer scenarios to translating into technology and tools. The role focuses on analyzing, preparing, implementing, and testing solutions along with our talented development team in Gothenburg.

You will

  • Implement and verify technical solutions based upon Ericsson and 3PP products
  • Technically investigate recommended supplier and partner products
  • Act as system test leader of Ericsson developed products as well as 3PPs in a factory IT environment.
  • Be technically responsible for demo portfolio, run demos on request and continue in improving demo experience
  • Write technical documentation
  • Participate in customer workshops as technically expert
  • Develop and enhance products, based on industry insights
  • Lead and support design thinking sprints

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Team player capabilities with an extraordinary can do attitude and positive approach
  • Solid understanding of the IT Industry and 3-5 years of experience with system integration and/or test activities
  • Knowledge of IT processes and ability to manage complex IT solutions
  • Good knowledge in Java, Golang, React
  • Experience of Linux, scripting, TCP/IP
  • Understanding of HTTP (headers etc.)

Additional qualifications

  • The ability to be meticulous regarding test i.e. testing before pushing
  • Curiosity - wanting to understand how things work and how they interact on a system level!
  • Structured personality and the ability to produce readable code that others can understand and build off
  • Experience of Ericsson radio and / or packet core is beneficial
  • REST, Kubernetes, Docker, db/SQL, JIRA and Google Cloud
  • Low level protocol experience, e.g. comfortable trouble-shooting with tcpdump
