System Administrator/Operation Lead

We are looking for a new System Administrator/Operation Lead to one of our application teams within the IT Operations department.

IT Operations responsibility is to secure that our IT systems work optimally – both in regards to hardware, operating systems, databases and IT applications.

CRM&ERP is one of two application teams within IT Operations. We secure that our IT systems meet the requirements for stability, performance, security and functionality in the Production Environment. We are responsible for our sales systems, financial systems and customer systems, a total of approximately 70 different applications. Our main task is to solve production issues, but also to work for long term stability that provides the best customer value. We are technical specialists and like to talk technical details with our developers, while we have a strategic overview and discuss the business needs with our users. If we encounter problems in production, we act quickly to fix the issue.

As a System Administrator/Operation Lead you have the full responsibility for some of our applications. You receive new functionality from our development department and secure the stability long term in the Production environment. You will also, as part of the team, solve all kind of issues in any of the systems within our responsibility. On Call duty is also included during evenings and weekends, a responsibility shared within the team. We constantly seek to improve ourselves and our way of working, and we expect you to participate in the process.

Our IT environment is highly virtualized, with Linux as OS, and Oracle as DB, but also Windows servers and other databases are used. Applications are developed in a variety of programming languages, so we need a broad mix of competence in the team to trouble shoot & fix problems. Database knowledge & SQL is a must as it is widely used for trouble shooting & correction of data.

Your qualifications

• Technical knowledge in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
• Experience of working with linux/windows/oracle
• Previous experience of working with development and/or operation
• Good communications skills primarily in English (Swedish is a plus)

Our work place is at the 3 head quarter on Kungsholmen, Stockholm and the start date will be as soon as possible that we agree upon.
