ChallengerMode is an esports matchmaking platform that lets gamers compete, improve their skills and win prize money in the best competitive games. Our vision is to build the best (online) competitive esports experience for gamers in the world.
We are are looking for an entrepreneurial and hard working programmer/web developer to join our team and help us build the Next Big Thing in esports. We are a small and high performing team that values trust and autonomy. It’s somewhat of a cliché but, to us, ChallengerMode is not just a job, it’s a calling. The ideal candidate to join us on our journey would identify with the following:
- A gamer and esports fan
- A self-sufficient and driven person who is not satisfied with mediocrity
- A true team player who is able to grow and contribute in a collaborative environment
- A person who is looking for more than “just a job”
- A life long learner who is never satisfied and wants to learn more every day
Although being very ambitious and a cool person is important, you also need some skills to begin with. We think it’s good if:
- You have a few years of experience working with software and web development
- You have a technical degree of some kind
- plus if you have worked with .NET technology stack, specifically for web
- plus you are used to writing tests and working with Continuous Integration
