Tasks and responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
As a Test Automation Engineer at Palette you plan, lead and contribute to the product development. Your knowledge in testing will give you an excellent opportunity to take the lead on everything test related from a strategic viewpoint to a more hands-on practical test responsibility. Furthermore, you will get the chance in a creative way to identify potential problems and bring forward new software. Your main responsibility will be to automate the testing procedure and develop tools for the developers to use in their code testing. The Engineering department consist of 30 people situated in both Malmö and Stockholm and the team spirit is characterized by close collaboration and a lot of energy.

Examples of the technologies that Palette use are:
Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps Services, containers, SQL, Git, C#, Java, JS/Typescript, Selenium and Angular.

Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:

Background:
• Relevant bachelor’s degree within information technology
• At least 3 years of experience working with test automation of web applications (front-end and back-end) mainly working with integration and UI-testing
• Fluent in English and it is an advantage if you speak Swedish or any other Nordic languages
• Good programming/scripting skills C#, Java or Python as well as knowledge in SQL

In this position we see that you have a good ability to work independently and that you take responsibility towards your colleagues. Furthermore, you are a person who likes to share knowledge with your coworkers, and you are a team player. You are a person who is highly motivated and can work both strategically and practically with testing. Finally, you like to solve problems, with your technical background, to support the developers in the best way.
