Senior Java Developer

We are currently looking to complement our Air Content team with an experienced backend java developer. In the team we are continuously working to find new ways of working that decrease complexity and provide the tools for team members to do their best work.

Working in Air Content

In Team Air Content we work closely with our Product Owner and Stakeholders to iteratively deliver value as quickly a possible. The team is involved in all aspects of the process from honing requirements to followup after release. The Air Content domain is central to what we do at Etraveli and includes integration with third-party systems, providing the APIs our partners integrate with as well as maintaining and extending our booking engine and related subsystems.

Requirements

• You are a Senior Java Developer with 8+ years of experience. This level of experience is necessary due to the complexities with which we work and the business critical nature of what we do.
• You have experience with third-party integration by way of SOAP and/or REST
• You have experience working with relational databases where experience with mysql is a plus
• You have experience working with high throughput business critical systems
• You have experience working within a team where both teamwork and individual responsibility go hand in hand
• You enjoy working with complex systems in an extremely complex domain
• Having experience in the travel industry is a plus but not required

We are also expecting that you, as well as us, feel inspired by figuring out great solutions within a complex system and that you maintain a can-do attitude even when times are challenging.
