Android SDK
Tink is providing access to the future of financial services. As an Android Software Engineer you will together with a strong team of engineers and designers build and improve our SDK for our fintech products, such as personal finance management (PFM), account aggregation (AIS), payment initiations (PIS). Tink is building native SDKs for both high level UI components and low level development kits. Tink has several mobile SDKs that are distributed both as open source and as closed source to our customers in the financial industry.

As a Junior Android Developer we think that you are a newly graduate or in your beginning of your career with an educational background in software engineering or mobile development. We highly value drive and ambition but also your interest in working with android development and learn more about how to develop SDKs.

Required qualifications

- Experience in Kotlin and Java
- Interested in developing, releasing and maintaining Android applications and frameworks
- A constant desire to improve, learn more and take the product to the next level
- Collaboration skills and understand the importance of working in a team

Preferred skills

- You have some open source projects to contribute to the wider Android community
- Experience with other programming languages, for example iOS development or web development
- Experience in releasing and distributing SDKs

As part of the SDK Team at Tink, you’re a passionate developer who loves to enable software to a large crowd and always wants to improve the quality of the software. You are building SDKs that some of the largest banks and financial institutes are consuming in their mobile apps and solutions. You know that any detail can impact the user experience and some of them may even require a more in-depth look into any given codebase.

At the moment we are not able to relocate candidates outside from EU.

About the SDK team

At the moment we have two SDK teams at Tink. One team that is building our web SDK and one team that is building our Mobile SDKs for Android and iOS. Both teams are collaborating closely to share knowledge and learnings between the platforms. So if you are familiar with other platforms than Android it is always a great plus. You will have a great influence on how we are building our future products and how Tink will be integrated and used in a lot of financial services and apps around the world.
