System Engineer/SCRUM Master to SDS

Saab Traffic Management (TM) serves air traffic and marine customers around the globe with advanced solutions that enable the safe and efficient movement of people and goods. There are two operating units within TM:  Air Traffic Management (ATM) provides airport surface safety and efficiency systems and tools, tower automation and advanced research, development and evaluation solutions; Maritime Traffic Management (MTM) solutions include Automatic Identification Systems (AIS), port and vessel traffic management information systems (VTMIS), hydrographic, and precision navigation.

Your role
The Product Development Department in Linköping needs to strengthen its competence within the area software development for AIS and VTMIS systems. We are active within the marine business and deliver advanced system solutions, spanning from ship borne transponders up to complete network and presentations systems. Within this area we are a world leader, and our ambition is to be on the fore front offering our customers high quality products. To succeed we are very fast to adopt to new technologies and include these in our products. A corner stone of the success is that we since many years are working with agile development both for software and hardware.
We now need to expand the team working with development of the network and presentation systems developed using C#/.NET technology. The team consists of system engineers, architects and software developers. We are now searching for a System Engineer/Scrum Master to participate in the development of the CoastWatch platform. You will work closely together with the product manager planning the development and activities to be done. Furthermore you will be responsible for the development environment and tools including the servers used for SW development and internal deployment. The role also includes test and verification as well as documentation within the CoastWatch product.

Your skills and experience
The following are examples of qualifications and skills that are applicable for the role. It is not a requirement that you possess all of the below, one or more may be sufficient.

Previous experience as Scrum Master and/or team leader for SW development.
Experience in SW development using C#/.NET.
Fluent written and spoken Swedish is a must.
Since we are internationally active it is a requirement that you speak and read English.

We believe that you have a Master of Science degree or similar,and more than 5 years’ experience within the area. You are a good team player but also able to work independently. As a person you are curious, engaged, take own initiatives and have the ability to present new ideas.
