To be successful as a Software Engineer you have advanced training in computer science or similar experience through keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise. We believe you have a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science or equivalent degree and you have excellent English communication skills. Also you should have one or more of the below skillsets:

• Client web developer – JavaScript, CSS and HTML
• API developer – NodeJS alt Java, REST API design
• Backend development in cloud environment– Java, Python, streaming techniques (basic knowledge of streaming data processing)
• Functional and automated testing, experience with CI/CD tooling
• DevOps tools and methods
• Docker experience and basic Kubernetes concepts

Meriting skills include:

• Zero Trust Architecture
• Working with native cloud providers, Google primarily but others are also meriting

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As Software Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• being responsible for the development of high quality (software) code which has been tested and is ready to be shipped
• working in agile teams in across the capability areas, contributing to the development and maintenance of products and solutions
• applying good software engineering practices (e.g. DRY principles, continuous integration, automated tests, pair programming, code reviews) within an agile/iterative development approach
• providing support and guidance as needed to other developers within the team
• exploring and bring in new technologies to boost innovation and development productivity
• working closely together with other software engineers, cross functions to meet design requirements and ensure that digital solutions work together to fulfil business needs

In this role you will report to Service Manager and this position is based in Helsingborg, but during COVID we all work from home
