iOS Engineer to worlds largest streaming company

The Artefact squad works with images and everything around it. We enable images to really pop in the clients and we own everything from submission of images to resolving and eventually rendering. As an iOS engineer in this squad you will be working with how images load in the client, enable different formats and sizes and evaluate how they perform. You will also be part of driving the agenda forward for images in iOS. Due to this being a small squad you will be working independently, but with great support from the other engineers in the squad and tribe when it comes to technical discussions and solution design.

OM TJÄNSTEN
This is a consultant assignment. Academic Work will be your employer and you will work as a consultant at our client’s company. The assignment will be full time and extend for four months. There is a good opportunity that the assignment will be extended, given that all parties are satisfied with the cooperation.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
We write code mainly in Objective-C but also in Swift.
This squad owns the way images are loaded into the clients. We do not own a specific user feature or a view in the client. Our main stakeholders are internal and work with design. Our purpose is to enable the right images for everyone, everywhere.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* You have at least 3 years of working experience as a Software Engineer with either Objective-C or Swift.
* You have working experience as an iOS engineer. This can be offset by a strong general development background.

* Work extent: Full time
* Location: Central Stockholm, right now you work from home. We currently work 100% remote, until the COVID-situation allows us to re-open offices, when everyone will be allowed to choose whether to work more home- or office-based.
