It will serve the entire group of companies within NIBE Climate Solutions, spanning over several markets with a new platform for Internet of Things and Smart Home Systems. We are calling for the brightest minds who share our commitment to work for a more sustainable future—so that we together can push the boundaries of how to utilize local energy sources in the most efficient ways possible to create a comfortable indoor climate.

DESCRIPTION

In the role of web developer, you develop web solutions in close collaboration with the many subsidiaries within the NIBE Group. The information comes both from requests from the subsidiaries but just as often from ideas from the developers themselves.

Development of functions to improve the user experience for end customers and installers, to simplify installation and operation of heat pumps / water heaters / wood stoves and not least to improve the product's energy efficiency and thereby save the world.

You will be located at in Markaryd and be part of a global team of experts in the field, ranging from hardware and firmware to cloud development. Due to the global nature of the team you will work with people of different nationalities while creating cutting-edge climate solutions for both our European and North American customers. We usually meet up a couple of times a year which means you should expect a small amount of travel to both European and US locations, although not during the pandemic.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills required:

• Frontend: Proficiency with HTML/CSS and Javascript frontend frameworks such as ReactJS, NodeJS, AngularJS.
• Backend: .Net Core with C# software development experience.
• API development
• Linux system experience
• Good English speaking and writing communication skills.

Skills preferred:

• Experience of CosmosDB, Blobstorage, Cassandra or similar databases
• Message queuing services

Experience of virtualization, containers and microservices technologies, for instance Service Fabric, VMWare, Hyper-V and Azure S.
