Your challenge
Are you a wizard when it comes to web applications?
Can you work with BIG data and implement data algorithms?
Are you experienced in working efficiently on large business systems?
Can you talk with the business and dynamically transfer requirements into technology?
If you can confirm all of the above, you are the ideal person to lead the future development of the'intelligence modules of the e-commerce platform in Boozt.com. You will join a technical team of 18 skilled people working closely together with the business units. We work in a LAMP environment using Symfony 2 framework. Our software is proprietary and on a cutting edge, and we have full control of our platform. You will have the option to influence the future architectural path.
Your responsibilities
. Develop core components of the data intelligence and personalisation modules of our platform
. Gather and process user data efficiently and use it throughout the engagement with our customers
. Implement relevant algorithms for product recommendations, customer segmentation, service experience, relevant content, etc.
. Assist the Web Development Manager in continuous optimization of the platform architecture
. Assist the Principal Project Manager with running the agile development releases
. Work close with business processes from e-commerce, marketing and merchandising teams
Your qualifications
. Technical web competences within modern web technologies (LAMP preferred)
. Experiences from building high performing web-systems
. Experience from implementing data driven algorithms
. Ability to work dynamically using MVC, design patterns and development framework
. Experience with modern code development: Source control systems, code review, agile methods
. Ability to dynamically handle multiple tasks and to plan according to priorities
