Sigma IT is now looking for .NET Developers to join our ambitious .NET Consulting team! We are looking for those who want to join a team where continuous learning is a natural part of our day to day work life.

What is the role like?

As a system developer within the .NET group at Sigma you will be a part of a great bunch of ambitious and experienced developers that together improve existing software solutions as well as developing brand new ones using the latest cutting edge technologies. Your role as a consultant means that you will be hired by Sigma IT and have your belonging in our .NET Consulting team but you will work at our client's sites. Within the .NET Consulting group, we often meet for different activities, both to share our knowledge and to have fun. As an example, we went to the “.NET Developer Days” conference in Warsaw in October 2019 together as a team!

The assignments vary in their focus as well as industry, but the common aspect is always .NET! The technical focus of the assignments might be backend, Web or Fullstack and your personal interest has a big impact on what assignments you will we working on. You will be working with a group of experienced and supportive colleagues and there is a possibility to work within a variety of organisations that range from small companies to international industry giants.

We see it as a natural step in the long term to go from being a developer to an architect or a Scrum Master. 

Your background

For this role, we are looking for you who have a few years of experience within system development with your focus on the .NET platform using C# as your programming language. Your focus can be Backend, Web or Fullstack, the important aspect is that you are passionate about system development and solving problems using code as your primary tool. You most likely have your educational background within software development from University or a College of higher vocational studies (Yrkeshögksola in Swedish).

You are fluent in English, Swedish language-skills are a strong merit but not a requirement.

Some exemples of programming languages and technologies that we would like for you to have experience from:

• C# / .NET
• .NET Core
• Microsoft SQL and other common databases
• TDD (Test Driven Development) or BDD (Behavior Driven Development)
• Clean Code
• Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Microservices, Docker & GIT.
