Service reliability engineer to customer in Gothenburg

Assignment description

For our client in Gothenburg we are looking for a Service Reliability Engineer.

Job description:

You will be part of a team with both SRE's and Application Support Specialists handling support for an existing customer program. You will also document and train yourself and your colleagues to be able to handle the 24x7 support for more customer programs.

You have DevOps experience with focus on Ops and good knowledge about AWS.

You are curious, proactive and driven.

You are good in sharing your knowledge and to document technical knowledge.

You have experience leading change on a team level.

We are looking for an open minded and flexible person that enjoys working under challenging and changing conditions. It's important that you are collaborative and have strong communication skills.

Required skills:

- AWS (or similar functionality from other cloud providers)
- Scripting and automation experience
- DevOps experience with focus on Ops
- Observability (AWS CloudWatch, Datadog or similar)
- CloudFormation (alternatively AWS CDK experience or other infrastructure-as-code framework such as Terraform)
- Fluent English skills, in both speech and writing
- Collaborative and with strong communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Curious, proactive and driven.
- OnCall duty required

Valuable Competence:

- Programming experience (Java, Python or similar)
- Agile methodologies
- ITIL experience
