About the position
As a Junior Test and Verification Engineer you will be a part of our R&D department consisting of about 50 engineers working within embedded systems, system software as well as windows applications and web services. In this position, you will be a part of the Tools Team, which today consists of 10 people - five Software Developers, one UX, one Product Owner, one Product Manager, one Software Quality Assurance Engineer and one System Architect. They are responsible for developing and maintaining tools for system design, configuration and diagnostics.
As a Junior Test and Verification Engineer you will work with automated testing of desktop applications using Python and Jenkins. You will put the customer first by ensuring that we deliver features that are flawless and behave as expected. You will analyze the customer features based on usability and requirements and turn that into fully automated acceptance tests. You will learn about Continuous Integration (CI) practices, maintenance and virtual machines and a portion of manual UI testing.
We are looking for you
who has a bachelor’s or master’s degree within data, mechatronics or similar. You have some experience in programming and you find testing interesting. You are fluent in English, both verbal and written.
As a person you prefer to develop and grow as an agile test developer. You focus on realizing yourself, by delivering acceptance test that validates product reliability in combination with usability. You believe success, for you as well as for the company, is the outcome of well-defined architecture, product quality and outstanding user experience. You are curios as a person and realize that openness and self-awareness are obvious ingredients in cross-functional teams.
Must have
- A Bachelors or Master's degree in data, mechatronics or similar
- Knowledge of at least one programming language
- An interest in problem solving, debugging, and finding loopholes in the developers’ code
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while supporting other team members
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written

- Source code management: Git or similar
