Does working with the latest technologies in a small autonomous team developing cloud hosted services sound like the right opportunity for you? Who is your future team?
Our mission at Enterprise and Partner Solutions (EPS) within Axis R&D is to create software for managing Axis devices throughout their entire lifecycle. We develop both clients and backend services that are used for installation, configuration and integration of devices and give an added value to the Axis brand. Each team takes ownership of their solutions, all the way from idea to production, and have full control of their own DevOps loop.
In every team there is a mix of seniority and skills, which means there are lots of opportunity for you to grow professionally and take the next steps in your career. What you'll do here:
As an Experienced Software Developer you will be an important member of a small team and an integral part of everything that goes on within it, such as:
* Writing and reviewing code, using Go and Python as your main programming languages
* Building and running microservices and APIs in cloud environments
* Setting up CI/CD pipelines in AWS and Azure
* Creating automated tests to verify code during development as well as monitor it in production
* Constantly defining and improving the team's ways of working

You love programming and to use your skills to solve challenging problems, as well as sharing ideas and knowledge with others around you. Working closely with colleagues in a team to create solutions together is important to you.
For this position we are only considering applicants that have already worked a couple of years with software development.
We'd love to hear that you have:
* A bachelor or master's degree in relevant fields, or similar experience
* Minimum 2 years of experience working with software development, preferably in an agile team-based environment
* Experience designing and developing scalable backend services and APIs using similar technologies as mentioned above
