Engineer Server Development

The Engineer Server Development at Williams Interactive has the main responsibility to maintain our online casino offering. This role will work together with other highly skilled developers in a team where the latest agile processes and tools are used. Williams Interactive is a global leader in innovation of game development and this role will be part of a team creating cutting edge technology solutions.

Essential Job Functions

Work on web based back-end applications (mostly in Java) where you will implement and deliver solutions that are robust, efficient, maintainable and secure

Engineer new code, and work with/enhance an existing code base

Help to identify and resolve application level issues and defects and attend design sessions with other team members

Assist in the development of new features in assigned projects

Utilize test driven development methodologies

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience

Required Experience:

At least 2 years professional programming experience in object-oriented programming, mainly within web based back-end application in Java

Good knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns and software development best practices

Knowledge of Test Driven Development and automated testing

Knowledge of agile software development

Knowledge of database design principles

Knowledge of performance optimization and scalability, in a web development context

Physical Requirements: Office environment

Work Conditions:
May require weekend and evening hours.
Willingness to travel and work on location
Available for emergency on-call duties
