Your journey within the Innovate Program will start as an Agile Developer at the Platform development group within Business Support Solutions!

Our Exciting Opportunity

We are looking for an agile Developer with a genuine interest in technology, programming and scripting. Someone who always want to bring quality forward, support others and provide proposals on how we can improve!

You will be a part of the Software Delivery Pipeline (SWDP) asset development team within Product Development Group (PDG) Platform in Karlskrona, Sweden. Focus will be on developing assets related to test automation. With this specific position our aim is to develop the successful candidate from being a SWDP Developer to become a SWDP Architect that can support customer projects with the establishment of pipelines.

You will

Block 1 (6 months):

  • Be part of the SWDP asset development team within PDG Platform in Karlskrona (Sweden). Focus will be on developing assets related to test automation.

Block 2 (6 months):

  • Join a customer project (on-site) that has an ongoing engagement establishing a pipeline.
  • Alternatively, if no suitable customer project, join the Exposure Layer development team in Indaiatuba (Brazil) to understand how to develop an exposure layer that enable a smooth integration of BSS products and customer 3pp’s, which is a must to enable frequent deliveries to a (pre-) production site.

Block 3 (6 months):

  • Put the new insights from block 1 and 2 together by joining the Integration & Verification (SOIV) team in Karlskrona (Sweden) and work on the test artifacts and framework that should be delivered together with the product in the SWDP.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • A MSc university degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
  • Maximum 3 years of work-life experience, post-graduation.
  • Deep skills in scripting in general, e.g. Python, shell
  • Deep experience of Linux systems, infrastructure, networking and IP in general
  • Good programming skills (mainly in JAVA, JavaScript, Groovy, Golang)
  • Deep experience in general Tools and Techniques: Docker, GIT, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Maven, Mesos, MongoDB, MySQL, Eclipse, Gerrit, Kubernetes
  • Experience in Frameworks like Angular and Flask

Any of the following is considered a merit:

  • Troubleshooting skills – which in its turn require to have hands on experience of signaling and platform (HW, Hypervisor, OS, 3PPs and APIs)
  • Experience of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA, web services, REST)
  • Experience of agile development
