System Engineer - Identity & Access Management, Group Digital

To be brilliant at this job we expected you to have the below skillsets:

• A minimum knowledge of 3 years or, an equivalent combination of education and experience working with technology, design and architecture concepts within the area of IAM.
• Ability to design, develop and deploy IAM solutions within both on-premise and cloud-based environments as well as work with SSO security and infrastructures. 
• Strong knowledge of native cloud provider identity services as Azure AD, Google IAM primarily but others are also meriting.
• Strong PKI/Key management knowledge.
• Experience working with modern authentication protocols, SAML, OAuth and OIDC.
• Experience working with Linux / Windows server operating systems.
• Scripting and programming knowledge.

We also consider the following skills as a strong recommendation at this position:

• Experience working with Python, JavaScript or other common scripting practices.
• Experience working with cloud IAM based practices of policies and rules management supporting Authentication, Authorization and Accounting policies and rules.
• Experience working with Directory Services (LDAP) architecture in business-critical, high availability environments.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will report to the Engineering Manager for the Identity & Access Management service area. The position is based in Helsingborg or Älmhult

As System Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Designing and delivering high quality digital services and engineering to support consumers across IKEA franchise system to be more efficient and reach the many people
• Apply and adhere to good engineering practices within an agile/iterative development approach in order to improve time to market
• Utilisation of proper tools and increase of automation to enable the specified business outcomes and create a strong digital foundation providing support and guidance within the engineer community encouraging good practices
• Monitor services, including applications and systems, and resolve or escalate issues 
• Develop and maintain current and future state documentation, standards and compliance 
• Interact with vendors to implement technical solutions and diagnose service malfunctions/disruptions 
• Implement, configure, upgrade and maintain Identity and Access Management Services, including IAM systems and application components.

ABOUT THIS WORK AREA

The Identity & Access Management area covers the technology platforms and products that provides and secures the Enterprise Digital Identity at IKEA including co-workers, partners and system entities. In terms of technology, it stretches from front-end experience of identification mechanisms, self-service co-worker onboarding and access request management to a strong foundation of identity governance in terms of access certifications and digital identity life cycle management.
