To support Mölnlycke’s next level of growth, and further develop the way we work in the Finance, IT and People/HR functions, Mölnlycke is establishing a new Global Business Services centre (GBS).

The GBS will be located at Mölnlycke’s headquarters in Gothenburg, complemented by two regional hubs: one in Americas and one in APAC. Once fully populated, the GBS, including the two hubs, will comprise some 100 people.

The launch of the GBS is planned to 1 March 2021 and we are actively recruiting for vacant positions!

We are now looking for a Product Owner who is responsible for the overall vision, roadmap, development and delivery of the ServiceNow platform and remote support application. The Product Owner will leverage the ServiceNow platform to drive standardization and automation, and create transformational digital experiences to enhance self-service, employee productivity and satisfaction. The purpose of the role is to ensure that the platform continues to deliver to the current business needs and is developed according to the prioritized future needs.

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive continuous improvements and development projects as the SME for the platform
  • Proactively lifecycle manage the capabilities and features of the platform
  • Daily go-to person in matters of system related questions for the area(s) of responsibility
  • Training and upskilling of new and existing team members in system related tasks
  • Develops and maintains a clear vision for the platform, taking into consideration global technology trends and solutions as well as the Mölnlycke internal strategic perspectives
  • Subject Matter Expert in development projects and key requirements and the owner for all platform-related matters
  • Build proof-of-concept (POC) and mock-ups for potential new solutions
  • Release and change management of the platform and all communication related to this
  • Active management of the product backlog and related stakeholder management
  • Promote usage and adoption of the platform and its features / functionality
  • Evaluate product performance regularly
  • Coordinate all changes and development activities in the platform across the different functions
  • Preparation, and life-cycle management of the platform, underlying data/information and working routines
  • Production of knowledge base articles related to the platform and areas of responsibility
  • Keeping up-to-date with general developments in the area of ITSM, ESM and ITIL

  • Experience in ServiceNow and/or other ITSM tools
  • Good knowledge of ITSM, ESM and ITIL
  • Business partnering profile; a good listener with a good understanding of general business issues
  • Highly adaptable and constantly evolving
  • Ability to set priorities and create focus on accomplishing set objectives
  • Process & systems oriented, driving improved quality and efficiency, taking time to understand best practice and trends
  • Change and transformation management and drive initiatives
  • Be able to think holistically and understand and manage complex cross functional processes

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience of hands on work in the area of ITSM and / or ESM
  • Experience of working in the Product Owner role
  • MedTech background a plus
  • Good Platform Development Management Skills
  • High level of IT literacy including deep understanding of Configuration Management (CMDB), self-service portals and user experiences
  • General understanding of process automation through IT enabled solutions
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
