Software development Internship, AstraZeneca Gothenburg

We are looking for hiring 2 interns for working on a proof-of-concept project as a small team. The job includes backend as well as frontend development and establishing CICD toolchains.

Gothenburg is one of AstraZeneca’s three strategic, global R&D centres, alongside Cambridge and Gaithersburg, and plays a central role in our mission to deliver life-changing medicines to patients.

We start a proof-of-concept project from scratch. The goal is to refactor old software with new frameworks. We start to develop a REST API as a backend service for exposing our database tables.  We would like to work on containerization as well. Based on your interest you can have focus on different steps such as containerization, or backend development. 
 
By working as intern, you have possibility to build your network with AstraZeneca. You will get experience with working within an enterprise company at the forefront of delivering new medicines to patients. We will help you with software development, maintenance processes, learning and experiencing modern technologies and gaining experiencing within a global team. The internship will be starting as soon as possible, lasting for 14 weeks. 

Education Requirements: 
Students in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Programming, IT, or other relevant studies.
