What we offer? 
At Wheel Suspension we are passionate in developing technology that enables Volvo Car Group to fulfil its aggressive targets to be the leader in the areas of Driving Dynamics & Comfort. Within Wheel Suspension we are looking for a dedicated system engineer who will work with development of wheel suspension with focus on a system level. 

As a system engineer, you will work in a highly motivated and diverse team with members from different backgrounds. The role need cooperate very close to packaging engineers and VD engineers, sometimes testing engineers. At system level a wide knowledge in all sub-components are preferred.

What you’ll do
CAD work
* CATIA, PLM system
* knowledge with CATIA DUM. Build and maintain suspension kinematic templates

CAE work
* Create & maintain suspension simulation models 
* Develop suspension design algorithms & methods
* HP tuning for FAX & RAX
* Concept Compliance tuning cooperate with VD 

Required knowledge in:
* Simulation, multibody modelling, solver technology, suspension kinematic, Matlab, python, CAITA, TCVis, Adams car, IPG car maker, VI-car realtime.

Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for you who are passionate about cars and new technology. You have educational background within engineering or experience that is equivalent to that. Experience of working with wheel suspension is valued but not a requirement. We are a global company and therefore you have to be fluent in English.
