Your role

We are now looking for skilled Data Engineers with knowledge in AWS Stack – experience in Big Data and AWS Cloud (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Hadoop/EMR, Hive, Kinesis, Sqoop, Spark ) OR Azure Stack – experience in Azure Cloud: Azure DataFactory, Azure Storages, Azure Delta Lake, Azure Active Directory, Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Databricks.

Your profile

To be successful in the role we preferably see that you have the following knowledge:

- Experience in data modelling, ETL, development and data warehousing

- Experience with data warehousing, and with big data technologies and languages like Python, R, SQL, and Scala, SQL and NoSQL databases, the AWS Cloud or MS Azure Databricks, or GCP

- Hands-on experience on components of Hadoop Ecosystem like HDFS, Hive, Spark, Sqoop, Map Reduce and YARN or any similar Cloud Tool Set or Environment.

- Experience in any of NoSQL technologies (Hbase, Cassandra, MongoDB, CosmosDb, AmazonDynamoDB etc.) and streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark Streaming, Storm etc.)

- Experience with Java or Scala (Must have)

- Experience with the Python programming language and PySpark API

- Experience with Linux OS, any distribution (would be considered a plus)

- Experience with Databricks (would be considered a plus)

- Experience of Agile and DevOps. (would be considered a plus)

- Experience building predictive models, and create machine learning algorithms in any of cloud environments (would be considered a plus)
