The Cloud team is a part of the Technology organization at Volvo Autonomous Solutions. We design the solutions of the future including teleoperation, connectivity and cloud services for autonomous traffic, fleet and productivity management. ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are eager to get to know a creative front end developer with experience in designing and programming user friendly applications. You will develop state-of-the-art features for our autonomous and teleoperated trucks and machines, and you will be responsible for bridging the gap between our technical functionality and the product design. You are proficient in JavaScript and you might also have experience in React or Vue. Maybe you have worked with the Docker engine and perhaps you are also familiar with Kubernetes – that would be super cool. We would be happy to welcome someone with insight in cloud computing and AWS or Azure. But most importantly you are eager to learn new things and to constantly develop your skills.
You will be working in an agile team of engineers, back end and full stack developers with great guidance from our cloud team architect to ensure the best possible user experience for our customers.
You are an open and creative person with a can-do attitude. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and you either speak Swedish or you are eager to learn a new language. In any case, you love being part of a dynamic, diverse and fun team so you will fit right in!
The role also includes participating in continuous improvement of our ways of working and you will be encouraged to dream big, dare to fail, innovate and always invest time in personal development.
