Job description
Randstad Technologies are now looking for a system tester to one of our clients within telecom. Here you will be part of a talented team, working with modern technology and creating a product that has an impact for millions of users worldwide.
We are now looking for skilled, self-motivated, and service-minded system tester who loves deep troubleshooting and wants to join our product development team. In the organization testing is done both by the cross-functional development teams, as well as by dedicated teams performing extensive regression verification and system level testing, striving for a high degree of automation in test environment for most of the test execution and parts of the analysis of test results. The new generation of our 5G products execute in a cloud-based environment so if you do not already have knowledge about cloud and virtualization, you will get an opportunity to learn.

Responsibilities
You will:
Design, execute test cases and evaluate test results
Work with Stability, Robustness and Capacity testing
Be a part of multi-functional, self-organizing and highly independent teams
Perform troubleshooting and problem solving of sophisticated products
Continuously seek new areas of improvement in the system test field
Work with some degree of autonomy in each team, but also in cross-site collaboration and share knowledge with others
Working hours
Full time, flexible work hours.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role you must have:
- Experience and interest in Test Methodology and Test Automation
- The talent to see the big picture, challenge current methods and experience in taking the lead in discussions regarding scope, activities and strategies related to testing
- An understanding for IP protocols, IP-based routing, 3GPP standards, and UNIX/LINUX
- Knowledge in our scripts and verdict system, you should know Python/Java
- An energetic, positive “we can do it” attitude towards challenges, is curious and able to learn new skills
- Knowledge in C/C++ programming is a plus
- A BSc/MSc level in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge
- Excellent English skills
