Frontend Engineer - Payments Experience

Do you want to be part of building the absolute best e-commerce checkout for merchants and consumers? The Payments experience team is on a mission to build the best e-commerce checkout there is, and we are on a successful path! With some of the largest e-commerce players in the Nordics as customers and partners, we process millions of transactions every month with steady growth. Now we want to strengthen the team to ensure that both merchants and end customers get a true WOW experience.

As a Frontend engineer you will play a central role in shaping our new checkout and you will join forces with 4 other skilled Software Engineers, a Tech /Team lead, a Product owner, a QA Engineer and a Designer. Together you will build and maintain our payment products through collaborative design, implementation and problem solving for the best user experience.

You can expect to:

- Work with modern web technologies such as Javascript (preferably React) as well as Redux, Webpack, Babel, Gulp, Jest, Enzyme, Nightwatch, Browserstack, AWS, .Net and more
- Take lead in developing a UI that gives a best-in-class user experience
- Contribute to all stages of the product life-cycle - hypothesis, design, implementation, testing, releasing, and maintenance
- Engage in architectural improvements and discussions
- Collaborate constantly - We’re true believers in teamwork and the value of practices like careful code reviews, pair (or mob) programming and we believe that you are too
- Learn a ton of new things - We emphasize learning on the job as well as through our learning platform and by knowledge sharing

What you’ll bring to the team:

- Solid understanding of Javascript and modern web development
- Solid understanding of Asp.Net/Core (http://asp.net/Core) framework
- Extensive experience building Javascript/HTML/CSS applications and a Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent
- Passion for building great products that people love
- Experience and/or interest in working with cloud technologies, more specifically AWS
- Curiosity and a highly collaborative work style, a wish to share your knowledge and jumping at the opportunity to dive into new technology and territory
- Previous experience working with development tools and concepts such as Git and continuous integration/delivery
- Passion for writing clean and testable code
- Experience working with experimentation and A/B testing
