Therefore, are we now looking for two service designers to join the DUX (Design & User Experience) area within Research & Development in Ericsson. As a service designer you will undertake a variety of tasks from Research, Design, Test, Process and Coaching. Ericsson is diverse, which means you need to have a networking mindset to empathize with internal teams as well. Continuously work in improving our customer and user engagement. Possess a creative mindset and challenge solutions. Working in our department, you will interact with Technology Engineers and Customer/Application users around the world. Innovation and knowledge sharing are part of the daily work.

Design & User Experience is a unit where we work with both hardware and software products. We are around 30 international designers that cover both Industrial Design, User Research, Design Strategy, UX and Service Design.

You will

  • Scope and plan Service Design projects
  • Manage and participate in various delivery activity streams, prepare customer workshops and technical discussions
  • Craft how touchpoints work together, from both the perspective of the end user, and those responsible for running the service
  • Work closely with other UX designers, developers, product owners, system engineers, visual designers and product managers in the process of building the right user experiences
  • Understand our customers and end users across the world, and preserve their perspective working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Contributing to the Design Community within Ericsson by participating and leading community events and activities.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Relevant education (bachelor or higher) in Interaction, Service Design, HCI, HMI, UX Design or related field
  • Proficient knowledge in; Adobe suite, Adobe XD, Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience in service design methods and UX metrics.
  • Any professional experience working on design projects from concept to implementation in multidisciplinary B2B teams is a major plus
  • Proficient knowledge in English
