Consumer Services at Volvo Group Connected Solutions is responsible for the end user services, from idea to development and operation. Together with our partners and customers we create value through fantastic user experience and business enhancing services and products.
We are now looking for a Fullstack/Backend Developer within Consumer Services.
The role
- Develop new software applications according to our development standards
- Deploy, operate and maintain our applications incl. driving continuous improvement of the same for better quality, functionality, cost effectiveness, etc.
- Actively contribute to the solution design of new services
- And finally, but not the least, continuously reflect upon how we are doing things and where we can improve
Your profile
As a person, you are a team player with a positive mind-set and you know the various challenges of application development. A customer-oriented attitude is in your nature, you care about quality, allow yourself to be inspired, have a “can do” attitude and take pride in your work.
Your personality is your major reason for success, but we think you also have:
- A university degree in software engineering, computer science or similar
- Several years’ of working experience as Application Developer, but we also recognize experience through own hobby projects
- Experience of Java 11 and Spring
- Knowledge in following techniques is a great plus: Spring Boot, GraphQL, REST, JMS, PostgreSQL, Liquibase, Swagger, Scala, Gatling, Asynchronous programming, Micro service architecture, AWS cloud services, Test automation frameworks and React.
- Proficient in React, Webpack & Babel, Jest test framework if you are more of a fullstack developer
- Fluent in English - both written and spoken
- Valid work-permit for Sweden, if not EU-citizen
