Senior IS/IT Architect – Full Stack Developer

Who are we?

Our Solution Center Volvo Trucks Retail, within Commercial Solutions, belongs to Volvo Group IT. Our work is to have the end-to-end responsibility for all development, delivery, and support of IT solutions for the entire Volvo Group. As our IS/IT Architect, you will lead the way for Volvo Groups' extranet portals. In our team, you will get the opportunity to work in an agile surrounding where we lead the development towards our digital channel platform. Role description

To be successful in this role you’ll need to be a full stack developer. Proficient in .NET and TypeScript. You will mainly work with dealer portals within the Volvo Group, but also with other related applications. The portals are mainly written in .NET Framework (C#) with a SPA client (Aurelia), but some of the other related applications consist of everything from VB, .NET/WebForms to .NET5/TypeScript - using a range of db technologies ranging from plain SqlCommands or Linq2sql to EF Core.

In your daily work, you will team up with solution architects, business analysts, solution and delivery leads in our agile release sprints to design solutions for our dealers, suppliers, internal users visiting our portals.

Who are you?

We believe that our new colleague has a university degree in computer science or another related field. We think you have a few years of experience in a similar role and preferably experience as lead developer. We consider knowledge within the automotive area as an advantage.

Required skills:

• Full stack developer
• Experience of .NET/Visual Studio/TFS/SQL Server
• Experience in JavaScript (TypeScript) clients and css, preferably Aurelia
• Good if you have experience with Ping Federate and Websphere MQ
• Positive if you feel comfortable with older Microsoft technologies like WebForms and VB, .NET.
