Full stack .Net developer at growing digital music start-up

Job Description

This role will land you right in the middle of an exciting and evolving industry - music. Every day you will be part of a team helping thousands of artists distribute their music to major online music services worldwide.

Like in most distributed systems, there is a lot of stuff going on in our application. We are looking for a skilled developer who can help us monitor these various processes and use their expertise to manage daily operational challenges, and where possible, improve and optimize these processes.

In practice, this will cover things like:

• Monitoring server, application processes, APIs and services to ensure they are working correctly.
• Solving and investigating tickets generated by error tracking and flags system
• Improving error tracking, handling and application monitoring
• Helping to solve potential user related issues and bugs which sometimes come up
• Smaller development projects and improvements to the website such as tweaking current features to improve usability or performance 
• Being the friendly “go to” person when the business devs, marketing or accounting people need help getting stuff from the database

While occupied with these operational responsibilities, you can also expect your expertise and creativity to contribute to a range of other ongoing development projects.

• You are a motivated, flexible and smart developer with good experience developing in .Net technologies (Framework 3.5+)
• ASP .NET / MVC
• High competence within Microsoft SQL Server
• C#
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and Java Script (primarily jQuery)
• Excellent programming skills, can write structured, maintainable code
