Site Reliability Engineer

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) you are responsible for building and maintaining shared infrastructure running on both public and private Cloud, as well as developing automation and self-services for our development teams.

SREs are pragmatic operators and software craftspeople applying sound engineering principles, operational discipline, and mature automation to our environments and the codebase.

Main Responsibilities:

• Actively onboard, assist and train developers at NetEnt on new tools, systems and best practices, as well as advocating in-house tailored or developed services.
• Develop, maintain and constantly improve self-service tools and systems helping NetEnt developers in their development work beyond what’s offered out of the box from both managed and open source services and platforms.

Skills:

• Expert knowledge in public and private Cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and Observability
• Strong engineering background with relevant education
• Strong programming skills in one or more of Python, Go, TypeScript
• Experience with "Infrastructure as Code" and automation using eg Terraform
• Experience building complex CI/CD pipelines
• Strong Docker and Kubernetes knowledge
• Monitoring and Metrics in Prometheus, Grafana and integrations with OpsGenie
• Logging infrastructure such as StackDriver/Splunk etc
• Disaster Recovery and High Availability strategy
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English
