Consumer Services at Volvo Group Connected Solutions is responsible for the end user services, from idea to development and operation. Together with our partners and customers we create value through fantastic user experience and business enhancing services and products.

We are now looking for a Solution UI Designer to join our UX & Design Team and to take part in our exiting journey ahead. We are a fun team of 10 highly skilled Designers with an ambition target – to create world class user experience for our digital products. We play a key role in all of our customer facing development providing design competence to the product teams and work in close collaboration with Product owner, developers and stakeholders.

The role

In this role you will bring your design skills and competence to the Solution Packaging and Implementation team. Here you will partner up with tech, product, and business colleagues to make sure that the solution is packaged in the best possible way always with the user in focus.

• Bring design expertise to the team
• Secure that digital solution follow Brand Guidelines
• Facilitate workshops to understand user needs
• Prototyping and create design artefacts
• Collect user feedback through both quantitative and qualitative methods
• Drive the design process, both internally and externally

Your profile

We seek a collaborative team player, and a skilled UI designer who can handle multiple products of differing size and scope. You rely on user-centered design principles to produce high-quality visuals—from concept to execution. You produce graphic elements, assets, and visual treatments that adapt with responsive design systems. You understand and assure customers brand characteristics and attributes and easily produce visually engaging and innovative digital products.

We expect you to be self-driven and comfortable taking the lead in discussions and workshops, with energy and drive and a “can-do” attitude.

We also want you to join us in our continuous improvement work to find better and smarter ways of working and help us push design driven development.

We want you to have 5 years + experiences in the Design field and appropriate education.
